DREAM is a comprehensive 3-dimensional model developed to study the transport, dispersion and deposition of air pollution from a single, but strong source - eg emissions from the Chernobyl accident.
The model is based on a combination of two models. One is used in the area near the source to describe the transport, spread and deposition in the initial phase of release. The other is used for long-range calculations of transport, dispersion and deposition in the model area covering the whole of Europe.
