The deposition of nitrogen-also called the marketing of nitrogen or nitrogen-fallout-is calculated for the year 2016.

The calculation is made as part of the monitoring programme NOVANA (programme for the monitoring of the aquatic environment and nature). Calculations are made with DMUs regional scale model DEEM. The map shows the total nitrogen deposition (wet + dry) at kgN/ha.

The calculation is made for the fields to 6 km x 6 km. From the displayed marketing in each field is an average for the entire field.
