I am a Senior Researcher in Ecological and Environmental Economics with a strong commitment to applied, policy-relevant research that addresses urgent sustainability challenges. My work focuses on areas such as nature-based solutions, biodiversity financing, the nature-positive economy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, the circular economy, and broader sustainability issues in both rural agricultural and urban contexts. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches that integrate a wide range of quantitative methods, including ecological and environmental economic modelling, econometrics, stated preference modelling, cost minimisation modelling, and environmental cost benefit analysis.
My research draws on diverse data sources such as cross sectional and panel data, spatial and climate data, and farm and household level survey data to produce robust evidence that informs effective and equitable sustainability policies. I am also exploring opportunities for collaboration and new research that integrate quantitative and qualitative approaches to enrich environmental and economic analysis and support more holistic decision-making across different spatial and governance scales.
