Abstract: The Danish National Birth Cohort is a large prospective cohort study that followed over 100,000 children and their parents. The DNBC is part of a consortium of childhood cohorts that will be pooled to evaluate the associations between residential pesticide exposures and childhood cancers. Geocoded addresses during the pregnancy and at the birth of the child are available in the DNBC and will be linked with Danish pesticide use records. A linkage of pregnancy and birth residences to land use maps and pesticide use information is to be performed in Denmark.
The presentation will include data and methodologies to estimate the pesticide exposure. No final results are available yet.
