Abstract: Proton Transfer Reaction (PTR) coupled to time-of-flight-mass spectrometry (MS-TOF)  is a novel technology for measuring VOCs in the atmosphere in real-time. The principles of PTR-MS will be presented together with some applications in the field of atmospheric chemistry.
