Abstract: The time is running out for timely and resource efficient adaptation to climate change with the increasing emissions gap, and the globally lacking adaptation efforts. An important prerequisite for resolving this situation is efficient information and experience sharing in order to develop sound adaptation measures. The aim of this presentation is to review the 10 primary information sharing platforms in the world with a focus on sharing decision relevant information. Lastly, I will also make an update as regards to the next European Adaptation Conference (ECCA2015) which ENVS will chair.
