Abstract: Macroalgae can have a key role in the shift towards a more sustainable food and energy production.
Two of the possible uses of macroalgae are the conversion to biogas and fish feed ingredient; their production processes have been evaluated using life cycle assessment, to investigate the environmental impacts that their implementation would entail in Denmark.
