Half-Day Workshop: “AI for Academic Research and Writing”
The ENVS Research Committee invites you to a hands-on workshop focused on Microsoft Copilot for academic writing and applications. We’ll start with prompt basics, then dive into how Copilot can help with brainstorming, summarizing, rephrasing, and structuring research articles and grant proposals (led by guest speaker Daniel Spikol), followed by additional tips & tricks and guided practice. Please bring your laptop.

Guest speaker
Daniel Spikol is an Associate Professor of Computational Thinking at the University of Copenhagen’s Center for Digital Education, within the Departments of Computer Science and Science Education. His work focuses on AI-supported tools and multimodal learning analytics for teaching and learning.
