On these pages you can find informations about the Danish air emission inventories.
The inventories are updated annually and this version contains the air emission data from 1990 to 2017. The inventories for 2018 will be finished and published on this web page in spring 2020.
In the introduction, you can read about the background for the work and the Danish obligations to report to international conventions and the European Union.
The main part of the emissions is estimated by means of activity rates and emission factors. You can find the factors used in the calculation of the emissions here.
You can also read about the the reporting sectors and sources of emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants, and see the trends in greenhouse gas emissions.
The official emission reports to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the European Union (EU) - including emission data - are available at the European Environment Information and Observation Network (EIONET) Central Data Repository. Kyoto Protocol reports are available at the UNFCCCs website. The emission reports to UNFCCC and UNECE are also available in the series of technical reports published by Danish Centre for Environment and Energy (DCE) at Aarhus University.
