• Atmospheric modeling (ATMO)
  Head of section: Ole Hertel

• Atmospheric chemistry and physics (ATCP)
  Divided into Atmospheric Processes (ATPRO) with head of section Ole Hertel, and Atmospheric Air Quality (ATAIR) with head of section Thomas Ellermann.
