Dear all

We have in the management produced and sent attached documents on self-assessment of the department to the dean’s office. The document is based on follow up work from the department seminar, since the end of the year has been very busy for most to finish projects in due time before the turn of the year we have decided to finish this without forcing a process of commenting from the committees.

As it is clear from the 4. NEXT STEP chapter (see below in the "self-assessment" document), we will in the new year initiate the strategy discussion in the department – and in this process we will again use a bottom up process  including section meetings but also in the new year actively involve the ENVS committees in the work.

More details will follow in the new year and for now I’ll like to express my thanks to all of you, for the extra work you as a member of one of the ENVS committees are contributing to the Department :;-) This is an important part of getting the ENVS DNA “expressed” and this will be even more important in the new year.
