About the workshop
Finding a healthy work-life balance in an academic setting can be challenging. The good news is that there is much you can do to shift the balance in a direction where you can stay strong and energized, despite the inevitable ups and downs.
Your productivity is closely tied to your well-being, and in the first part of the workshop we will talk about what stress is and identify some of your own personal stressors. We will also discuss how to recognise signs of stress in yourself and your colleagues and explore what you can do yourself to contribute positively to your work environment.
In the second part of the workshop, we explore the imposter phenomenon. Despite earned degrees and recognition, you may feel you don’t deserve the success and fear being exposed as “not good enough”. You will learn more about what imposter phenomenon really is and leave with hands-on take-home tools that can help you continue the good work we begin together in the workshop.
