My name is Chongyang Zhang. I just completed my PhD this June at the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Lanzhou University, China. My previous research focused on Arctic stratosphere–troposphere interactions, as well as Arctic–midlatitude connections. Over the next two years, I’ll be working with Professor Peter L. Langen’s team, focusing on how Arctic climate change influences weather and climate in the mid-latitudes using models and innovative methods. I’m really looking forward to getting started and meeting everyone here!
