Expertise includes biodegradation of pesticides, microbial fermentation, and bacterial community analysis. My research spans microbial degradation of pesticides in soil and aquifers, the study of microbial communities in Greenland ice and permafrost, and the development of microbial products for sustainable agriculture, with a focus on biostimulants and remediation of agricultural land.
