In relation to the greenhouse gas emission inventory, DCE-Aarhus University has assessed changes in major land use types for Denmark for the period from 1990 to 2005 and from 2005 to 2011. Since 2011, changes have been assessed annually. The maps are in raster format with a cell size of 25 x 25 meter. Maps are primarily based on publicly available spatial information. Land use types follow IPCC guidelines and include settlement, forest, cropland, grassland, wetland and other land.
