Supporting documentation

The annual Danish documentation reports of the air emission inventories are comprehensive. The documentation reports include methodological descriptions as well as information on the activity data, emission factors and other calculation parameters used in the emission estimation.

During reviews an increasing amount of data have been requested to the extent that it is no longer feasible to include it in a report format. Therefore, it has been decided that a large part of the supporting documentation in forms of data tables will be made available online rather than including it in the reports themselves.

The supporting documentation  for greenhouse gases as relevant for the National Inventory Report (NIR) are listed below according to the annex list in the latest NIR.

Follow the links to see the supporting data:

Annex 1 Key category analysis

Annex 2 Uncertainties

Annex 3A Stationary combustion

Annex 3B Mobile combustion

Annex 3C Industrial processes and product use

Annex 3D Agriculture

Annex 3E LULUCF

Annex 3F Waste

Annex 8 Key category analysis - Denmark and Greenland

Part of the documentation for the C-TOOL model used to estimate carbon stock changes in mineral soils is an unpublished technical report. To facilitate the review of the Danish inventory, this report has been made public here: C-TOOL - A simple tool for simulation of soil carbon turnover.

Note on inclusion of the effect of pyrolysis of biomass in C-TOOL/the national greenhouse gas inventory (In Danish) is available here: Notat om indregning af effekten af pyrolysering af biomasse i C-TOOL/den nationale drivhusgasopgørelse

Emissions data in the common reporting format (CRF) and the annual documentation report for the greenhouse gas emissions inventory can be found on the Eionet Central Data Repository (CDR) using this LINK.

Summarised greenhouse gas emissions data, which serve as background data for the figures on the "Greenhouse gases"-pages can be downloaded here.
