WinOSPM is a central part of the human exposure modelling system AirGIS.

A structured description can also be found in the Model Documentation System (MDS) of the European Topic Centre on Air and Climate Change (ETC/ACC) of the European Environmental Agency (EEA). You may either browse the whole data base or go directly to the OSPM description.

Evaluation version

A free evaluation version (Version 5.1.90, dated March 30, 2007)
of WinOSPM (OSPM with a Windows user interface) can be downloaded.

No updates or fixes available in the moment, please download a new complete installation file.

OSPM validation tool

Access to tool designed for validation of results from the OSPM model. The tool is suitable for exploratory analysis of OSPM model performance. The use of the tool is described in a conference paper from 2011.

About the Department of Environmental Science

The department was establihed June 2011 by a merger of three research departments at the former National Environmental Research Institute (NERI). 
The role of NERI has been transferred to the Department of Environmental Science and other institutes at Aarhus University, in cooperation with DCE – Danish Centre for Environment and Energy


DCE is Aarhus University’s central unit for knowledge exchange within the areas of nature, environment, climate and energy. DCE eplaces the former National Environmental Research Institute (NERI).
